Children's Literature Program
The program aims to enhance children's skills and attitudes, develop their environments, and ultimately empower children capable of achieving their future aspirations. It aims to identify their career and academic paths by developing their life skills related to themselves, their surroundings, and the community.
The program also contributes to strengthening their societal role and motivating them to become agents of change in Jerusalem. Activities with children aged 6-17 are conducted within the Old City and its surroundings at the center, through daily meetings in schools or networking with partner institutions.
To create a supportive environment for child development, efforts are made with the most influential parties in their lives, working with children's parents to create a more stable family environment. This helps the child grow positively and develop. Teachers are also engaged to improve the classroom environment, making it supportive for the child's development, skills, and creativity.
Various tools are employed to achieve these goals, such as reading and children's literature, different artistic and scientific creative corners, open days, community initiatives, tours, visits to institutes and centers specializing in various fields to enhance their abilities, skills, and resilience in their city of Jerusalem.
